It all started with wooden spoons, pots and pans at the age of two. At five my mom bought me my first drum set. I played nonstop, day and night till all the heads were busted. The bands I listened to were Black Sabbath, AC/DC and Metallica. My mother always instilled within me, the knowledge to take what you know, strive for more and always ask why!

Inspiration came to me at the age of 12, being introduced to 'the metal kings', PANTERA, with the song 'Cowboys From Hell'. Wow! What a record, when Vinnie Paul, the brick wall, blew me away on his drums. With no real formal training, I pounded away learning the technicalities of speed drumming from Trendkill at the age of 15. In my opinion, the most truly amazing drum work was overlooked on the Pantera album, Reinventing the Steel.

My cousin and I began a hardcore band for 4 months. My experience playing in bands continued for approximately 4 years including Waylo,

Strangebreed and Dedhead. I was taught the skills in writing, playing live gigs and learning patience. At the 'Battle of the Bands' in Abilene, Tx, I was introduced to Danny English and Arvin Adkisson, managers of Premenishen. Then, December 27th, received a call that would change my life and six days later I am on stage. My break came and not only did I land a great position, but being in a band with family of Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell made all my dreams come true. I've had the opportunity to shake hands and talk with the boys and truly feel like I am home at last. I feel lucky to have two managers that look after the band like Arvin and "take it on the chin", Danny Glen. BE STRONG,BE TRUE, BE DRIVEN in anything you do and, always,

Blow It Up Till It Pops!
